El brief

01

Telos, a 12-architect Paris-based studio focused on luxury residential and cultural projects, was getting fewer qualified inbound leads despite winning awards. Their old WordPress site felt apologetic about their pricing.

El desafío

02

Build a portfolio that doesn't apologize for the pricing — and that pre-qualifies prospects so the team only takes meetings with serious projects.

Nuestro enfoque

03

A site built like an architecture monograph. Generous whitespace, large-format project pages, raw construction footage, audio commentary from the lead architect on each project, a 6-step qualification form for new commissions.

El resultado

04

Significant growth in inbound commissions and higher average project budgets in 6 months. Better lead-to-meeting conversion. The studio successfully raised its pricing with no client pushback.

Nuestra perspectiva

Lo que este proyecto nos enseña sobre el oficio.

An architect's website is a qualification tool

Most architecture studios treat their website as a portfolio — a showcase that proves they can deliver. That's a category mistake. For a premium studio, the website is a pre-qualification tool. Its job is to scare off prospects who can't afford the studio's pricing, while making the right prospects feel like they've found the only studio for their project. The design choices flip accordingly : less optimization, more provocation; less SEO, more editorial; less form, more long-form audio commentary on each project.
